1. In my quest to find a willing psychologist I came across three possible candidates (whose names now escape me,) and four more possiblilties. My first attempt to find a psychologist was by asking family and my mother said she might  have found someone. It was her former bosses husband, but after a short talk with my mother it was clear that he was too busy. After she found me two more co-workers (I should mention she works at City of Hope,) who had the same stories. I hadn't even come in contact with them and I was getting absolutely no where. I started looking for more possibilities and saw opportunity in one man my family simply calls "Peter." Peter  is a communications professor at Citrus College. I decided to ask him and he told me he knew of many of them if I wasn't very picky of which kind of psychology it was. I told him I wasn't picky and to keep me updated on his progress. The only problem with Peter was that he was on vacation and came back to school on September 4. I was however very grateful for the opportunity.

2. I think professional mentorship is a requirement because it follows one rule that iv'e always believed true, you learn by doing. With a mentor there is someone whom you can ask questions of when you fail to understand something. A mentor would also have experience with cases in the field not normally encountered and be aware of how to deal with them.

3. I plan to wait for the response of the possible candidates and if they do not come across I will put in more with actual organizations or other practicing professionals.
